Install Game From PlayDeb Repository (Ubuntu)

Step 1 : Add Repository PlayDeb

• Install the playdeb package.
• Download : http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb
• Install package as :

  root@riyaniezt:~# dpkg -i playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb

• Or Configure the repository manually :

  root@riyaniezt:~# gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

• Add the botom lines and save :

  deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu maverick-getdeb games

• Add the repository GPG key and update repository :

  root@riyaniezt:~# wget -q -O- http://archive.getdeb.net/getdeb-archive.key | sudo apt-key add -
  root@riyaniezt:~# apt-get update

Step 2 : Install Game

• Go to url : http://www.playdeb.net and select Games menu.
• Select ubuntu version on Release combo box
• Choose the game you want to install and click the “Install this now” button below the screenshot of the desired game.
